Do you offer lay aways to your customers?

You can now manage lay away transactions in a way that is simply not possible without the power of Genesis Advantage.

You will maximize the efficiency of your inventory dollars by re-selling a customer's lay away item several times over before the customer ever comes to pick up the lay away item.

Here's how it works...

1. Sell the item and select a lay away period while entering the item on our intuitive sales order entry screen. Genesis automatically calculates the expected completion date for the lay away transaction and adds the item to a Pending Lay Away List.

2. Periodically review the Pending Lay Away List. Genesis keeps the lay aways nearing completion at the top of the list so you will know where to focus your attention. You can reorder a lay away item (including faxing or e-mailing the P.O.) with just a couple of mouse clicks. You can even remove the lay away item from available inventory and reserve it for a customer if you don't think another can be received into stock before the end of the lay away (again with just a couple of mouse clicks).
