Commission Plans

 

Genesis supports an incredible variety of commission styles!

Genesis Advantage makes it easy to implement a wide variety of commission plans. You can use standard flat rate plans, or use "sliding scale" commission plans that tie commissions to performance goals. 

Here are examples  of commission plans currently available in Genesis Advantage:

  • Profit Margin Per Ticket The commission rate varies with profit margin on a sales invoice. Encourages overall higher profit margins.

  • Sales Dollars Per Ticket The commission rate varies with the size of a sales invoice. This plan encourages add on sales.

  • Gross Profit Dollars Per Ticket The commission rate is a percent of the gross profit on the sale. Can also be setup as a sliding scale style commission.

  • Month To Date Sales Dollars The commission rate increases as salespeople reach monthly sales plateaus.

  • Each Items Profit Margin The commission is calculated for each item and varies with the profit margin achieved on each item.

  • Each Items Selling Price The commission amount is linked to the selling price for an item and is increased when target selling prices are met.

  • Each Departments Profit Margin This plan lets you pay commissions by product category. This is great for stores with a mixture of furniture, electronics, and appliance items.

  • Flat Rate By Salesperson Assign a different commission rate to each salesperson.

  • Special Order Versus Stock Pay separate commission rates for stock and special order sales.

  • Commission Override Override any preset commission rate on an individual sale in the back office.

 

Specify a separate commission rate for fabric protector products and use this rate with any commission plan. Genesis can even remind your salesperson to add fabric protector products to a sale whenever applicable. You will also have terrific information for monitoring close ratios for sales that are eligible for fabric protectors.
